The Earth before the Flood: Disappeared continents and civilizations

Continuous wars between gods and demons in the end of Early Miocene had aggravated distress of the population of the Earth and contributed in the further destruction of its water-steam cover. It had led to sharp deterioration of climate - to surface tightening by continuous integument of clouds, to abundant raining and cold snap. Hunger had begun on the Earth. Eventually, irreconcilable rivals adityas, daityas, danavas, rakshasas and snakemen had to unite for the sake of carrying out of urgent actions for restoration of more or less suitable conditions for life on our planet.

The history of the Earth in Early Miocene puts many questions on which while there is no unambiguous answer. One of them - why the destruction of water-steam cover begun on the boundary of Oligocene and Miocene had occurred at first only on dark half of planet while on its light half there were more or less suitable conditions for life?
I concede I made a mistake in age determination of some events stated in legends, and irreversible destruction of atmosphere (and at the same time abundant raining, hailstones and snow on the dark half of the Earth) had begun in the end of Early Miocene, or, to the contrary, wars of gods and demons were much earlier - in first half of Early Miocene.
Anyway, the period from 24 to 17 million years ago, proceeding about 7 million years, was one of most "dark" (in literal and figurative sense) time in the history of the Earth when there was an essential rearrangement of its atmosphere, and, probably, also orbit and character of rotation and "reorientation" of its inhabitants from eternal and estimated hundreds or tens of thousand years of life to rather short life lasting first tens of thousand or thousands years.

These actions were a separation of the big piece from the Earth which should become its satellite (during this period, apparently, there was no moon on the Earth), and the spinning up of our planet by removal of this piece from it. It's difficult to say, for what it was required - for augmentations of gravitation and possibility of giants live on the Earth, for conservations of the residual of water-steam layer in atmosphere which increased the temperature of the Earth, constrained penetration of ruinous ultra-violet radiation and was a longevity major factor, or for creation around northern and southern poles of conditions for live of immortal persons (I wrote about this in my works «Would the meeting with gods take place?» and «The underground world - space out of time or road to immortality»). It is impossible to exclude also, that the separation of the Moon from the Earth was necessary for change of its orbit and character of locomotion round the Sun - who can tell now about it precisely?
Spinning up of the Earth and separation of the big piece from it which became subsequently the Moon, apparently, is described in the Indian legend about ocean churning around world mount of Meru (northern pole) by adityas, daityas, danavas, snakemen and multiarmed beings led by Vishnu and also in Aztec legend about vault of heaven round world mount of Koualkan (an axis of the Earth), like a drill, by Camashtli - Mishñoatl, Tlalok, Xipe Totec or Tezcatlipoca. According to the Indian legend after gods "have churned" the ocean by Mandara mount the Moon was appeared in the sky. According to my assessments it has happened on the boundary of Early and Middle Miocene (about 17 million years ago).
Appearance of the Moon in the sky is reflected in the Egyptian myth about renunciation of Ra of holy table in favour of Thoth according to which they began to replace each other on the throne and day began to alternate with night, and Moon had appeared in the sky. This is also described in the Sumerian myth about the Mount of Heavens - in the episode of the birth of Ninlil and Moon god of Nanna in the Earth stratas, who was fated to rise on the sky to shine the Earth and to show mortal people rotation of times, and also in the Akkadian - Babylonian poem «When above» - in the episode about creation of the Moon by Marduk:
«Then he had created the Moon, having entrusted night to it. He had gifted a crown to the Moon to measure time by horns-teeth. Marduk had given Shamash the day …».
Appearance of the Moon in the sky is mentioned in legends of practically all other people living on the Earth - I repeatedly paid your attention to it and even have placed a series of myths on this theme in my work « The World coverage of legends about separation of the Moon from the Earth».
According to legends of Nahua and Aztecs, after the Moon separation over the surface of the Earth two "suns" began to ascend by turns or to shine simultaneously.
«But when the Sun had done the route, much to astonishment of gods, there had ascended the second Sun … This second Sun did not shine so brightly as the first, but nevertheless gave a lot of light. There was no night any more on land» (A.N.Fantalov, «History and mythologies of Mesoamerica», 2004).
Locomotion of "two suns» on the sky did not submit to any regularity. The moon left further and further from the Earth every day, and our planet gained speed more and more. Therefore both the Moon and the Sun ascended in different places at various times:
«All gods knelt down and in silence expected a sun exit. They looked for all sides because they did not know, whence the sun should arise …» «… Then both the Moon, and the Sun stopped. And then gods decided to sacrifice own blood. The Sun and the Moon had started moving again» (A.N.Fantalov. «History and mythology of Mesoamerica», 2004).
«But the sun shined all around, and gods had been lost and did not know, in what direction the sun should move... meantime, the Sun had not moved, … Quetzalcoatl collected all forces and blown with such force that this strong wind had forced the sun to move from the East to the West» (the Florentine code).

This event is described in not less bright paints in legends of Indians Hopi. By order of the helper of Sovereign Creator of Taiowa, Sotuknang the axis of the Second world (ended 17 million years ago) had been given to itself. It began to rotate at reckless speed and to be shaken and, having twice inverted, had descended from the orbit round the Sun. As a result, mounts and the seas were mixed, then all had turned to an ice piece - the season of the world glaciation had come (glaciations of Antarctica and formation of ice integuments in Arctic ocean and glaciers in Greenland and Alaska).
According to the Indian legends, after separation of the Moon from the Earth the huge dragon of Sheshu had twisted it and began to hold our planet from excessive rocking.
Summarising all told above, it is necessary to notice that the separation of the Moon from the Earth has led to global catastrophe that was one of the most terrible in all history of the Earth and which was accompanied by a great deluge, the strongest earthquakes and scale eruptions of volcanoes. The deluge and the epoch of darkness described in the most myths of Nahua and Aztecs as "collapse of heavens", had marked the ending of the Fourth world epoch under direction of Chalchiuhtlicue. Last year of Sun of Chalchiuhtlikue "from the sky a large quantity of water flew and in such excess that heavens had fallen, … and maseguali had ceased to exist and the sky had ceased to exist, because it had fallen to the ground" ("History of Mexicans on their drawings").

Deluge, and also the season of gloom accompanying it are described in detail in legends of Inkas, Yunkas, Mochika, Kechua, Aimars and other Indians of South America. According to G.Belami and L.Zaidler, ocean level in Peru, Bolivia and Mexico at that time exceeded its modern level on 4,5-5 km. It proves to be true by the geologic data.
The deluge description on the boundary of Early and Middle Miocene is in legends of almost Indians of Southern and Central America, the Indian, Sumerian myths and legends of the Australian natives.
The Codex of Chimalpopoca mentions about red mounts rising in the time between the Fourth and the Fifth epochs (about 17 million years ago), most likely, volcanoes from which the lava was poured out:
"The sky had approached the Earth and all was lost in one day. Even mounts had hidden under water. It is said that … [sea] boiled and raged with a loud noise and mounts of red colour rose". It is possible to find references in legends of many people on the strongest motions of earth crust descended at that time. So, according to the Chinese legend, "the Earth had broken up into parts, water had rushed from its entrails and had deluged land … and the land began to lose the shape …. From the north the sky had started to go down slowly … there was a Sun eclipse … planets had variated the locomotion. Stars began to departure from the sky and to disappear in yawning chasm".
Other Chinese myth affirms that during great catastrophe the land had strongly tilted and had down to the sea behind shores of China, and deluge waters had been turned to the southeast.
In the myth of the Australian natives it is said that big water and great jolting had come on land. Then … the land had begun to shake and the big waves of water had swept overland. After water had left, valleys appeared on a place of mounts and mounts - on a place of plains. The sun too had started to do the contrary: earlier it came from the north and left on the south, and after great jolting and the big water it began to come from the east and to leave on the west.
It tells all about sharp change of position of the terrestrial axis which after catastrophe on the boundary of Early and Middle Miocene, apparently, had again occupied close to modern, inclined position

Change of locomotion of the Sun on firmament on the east - west is noted, at least, in the Mexican, Egyptian, Chinese and Australian legends.
