Collection of inexplicable things and facts
Dear friends!
I will acquaint you in this section with some found subjects, watched phenomenas and other puzzles of the Nature which have not received a satisfactory explanation at scientists and have been sinked into oblivion or attributed, more often absolutely groundless, in category of fakes (fabrications). I think, many of you have already heard about them and have in this respect your own opinion. However, among visitors of the site for certain a lot of people will be for whom the facts mentioned here become revelation. First of all, I devote this sector to them. I invite all other visitors of the site to pronounce your opinions in the blog. Who knows, perhaps, just your judgements will allow to discover answers to questions, which seemed insoluble recently and to solve nature puzzles which scientists for a long time ago supplyed with "a large and fat cross" .

In rocks the age of which are valued by one explorers as Lower Cretaceous, and others - as Odovician, a ferrous hammer had been found. It was discovered by Max Hahn in June, 1934 (under other data, 1936), when it fished (or travelled) with his family near London in Texas (USA). Attention of Hahn had been attracted by a block (or a concretion) of wethered rocks with a piece of tree, sticking out of it, near a waterfall on Red Creek.
Afterwards, when this rock has been splitted (in 1946 or 1947), an octahedral ferrous hammer about 15 cm in length and nearby 2,5 cm in diameter was exposed. The wood handle had been partly coalificated and petrifacted and contained quartz and calcite crystals .
The trials having spent in Battelle Laboratory indicate to unusual composition of the hammer consisting of 96 % of iron, 2,6 % of chlorine and 0,74 % of sulfur (not Carboneum). Test for strength had shown, that it was casting of excellent quality, free of any beads (bubbles) and inclusions. The unique layer of iron oxide which is not characteristic for the modern atmospheric environment, protected the hammer from rust. And notch made on the hammer in 1934 (or 1936) (with the help of r
at-file) was not oxidised till now.
Rocks containing the hammer are semigrown together concretions of calcareous sandstones. Ann Cairns from the Geological Society of America cites data that in analogous rocks several miles upwards the brook Lower Cretaceous fossils have been found out. And the rock is a part of Lower Cretaceous Edwards Plateau which was formed 140 million years ago when dinosaurs dominated on the Earth.
For the sake of justice I will note that the spent determinations of absolute age of shavings of tree from the hammer handle (on Carbon isotopes) have shown that it is not older 700 years. In this connection, judgements of explorers concerning age of a hammer were divided. One of them prolong to consider it very ancient and refer to handle "impurity" by the modern processes of carbonification. Others consider that it had deposited together with a lime concretion no more than hundreds years ago (judgement more than disputable). But all explorers without exception acknowledge necessity of further examinations of this phenomenon. However, it is practically not realizable now because the hammer has been purchased by one American creation scientist who was not interested in determination both its ancient, and modern age.
