In my book " Dissappeared inhabitants of the Earth" I have compared daityas and danavas with fallen angels - the Sons of God of the Genesis, guards of the Book of Enoch and nephelims of "Tikuney Zohar". The Ethiopian version of the book of Enoch speaks that guards "defiled with human daughters, and have taken wives to themselves, and have acted as sons of land, and have given birth to sons-giants". The Genesis also narrates, that they were "strong, since the old days nice people".
When giants grow, people failed to feed them. And then giants had planned to destroy all human race. "[And they began to sin and …] against all earth birds and beasts, [and reptiles creeping on the ground and animals inhabiting in water] and in heavens, and marine fishes, and to devour a flesh [each other, and to suck blood …]" (aramaic fragments of the Book of Enoch from Qumran). This scene surprisingly resembles the fragment " Colonization of the Earth by space aliens" from the"Mahabharata" of settlement of our planet by daityas and danavas
