The Earth before the Flood: Disappeared continents and civilizations

In this section I want to pay your attention to appearing in our world from time to time creatures which do not belong neither to one of now existent animals, nor to man. On their search numerous expeditions set off, about them books are written, films are shot, however nobody managed to get convincing evidences of their real existence till now. Therefore the majority of scientific, as well as all sane people consider that these beings simply do not exist.
The most known among them, perhaps, are a snowman or Yeti and the Loch Ness monster or Nessie. I would also rate among them the negative personage of folklore - deuce, or Evil spirit.
Among numerous hypothesisis about the nature of these beings two are of the greatest popularity:
- they are quite real inhabitants of the previous world who have lived till our days - the Neanderthal man (Yeti) and a plesiosaurus (Loch Ness monster or Nessie);
- they are natives from a parallel world which exists simultaneously with ours.
In my opinion, adherents that and other points of view are right. And snowman (Yeti), and Loch Ness monster (Nessie) and Evil spirit are notion like Shambhala which exists simultaneously in the physical world and out of it. Most likely, they are really survived their age representatives of antediluvian mankind, the majority of reasonable inhabitants of which were siddhs, and many of them furthermore possessed "milked from land" mystical capacity suddenly to occur and dissapear out of sight, which C. Bhaktivedanta Svami Prabhupada has named "ishita".
Such beings were kimnaras, kimpurushas and, apparently kinnaras and guhyaks. In some measure all remaining inhabitants of the antediluvian world had also possessed it. Therefore snowmans (Yeti) can quite be yakshas or bhutas (it is a pity that nobody saw their intravital portraits) or beings, looking like sworn brother of the hero of Sumerian-Akkadian epos Gilgamesh - Eridu - the giant covered with a wool with human appearance.
Nessie can belong to any type a dragon-people or dragons-luns. Well, and inhabitants, close in appearance to deuce or Evil spirit were generally abundant (in abundance) on our planet earlier. For example, legendary Chinese governors Fusi and Shennong often pictured with horns on heads. Judging by the saved antique engravings, sculptures and books, horns were also at legendary Chinese emperors of Zhuanxu, Di Ku, Indian god Rudra-Shiva, Egyptian god Bes (at the first two in a combination with hoofs of a pig). Even Sumerian-Syrian goddess Ishtar-Astarta was sometimes imaged horned. Remember also the finds of horned skulls in Pennsylvania and on Chinese-Mongolian boundary.
Judging by legends which have reached us, horness was one of the characteristic outward signs of reasonable inhabitants of the ancient world. They, as well as dragon-people of Nessie type, belonged to indigenous, aboriginal inhabitants of the Earth. And far not always and not all of them were hostile to incomers, having human appearance ( adityas, daityas, danavas and other), and then - to people.
The mythology has handed down us many events when the most ancient representatives of a "human" genus were their allies and even united in marriage with them. And having typical appearance of Evil spirit (with goaty legs, long beard and horns) one of the oldest Grecian and Egyptian gods - god of herds, forests and fields Pan with his army of semipeople-semirehegoats or semihorses (semidonkeys) of satyrs and sylens helped to Zeus with Olympians to defeat and overthrow in an abyss titans (by the way, hundred-arms giants hecatoncheires similar to rakshasas and other indigenous inhabitants of the Earth also helped to Zeus in his struggle with titans).
However, after a sequence of global catastrophes which have shaken the Earth, and appearance on historical arena of the modern people, inhabitants of the previous epoch became not so numerous as earlier. The majority of them, apparently, had already accepted long ago a human appearance (after all, all of them were werewolves) and they lives among people till now who even do not suspect about their existance. That beings who didn't want to make it for some reason, became outlaws. During the Christian epoch last their representatives who remained on the Earth turn to "dragons", "wood goblins or satyrs", "devils" etc. and became objects of not ceasing hunting by "true believers". That is why they have hidden in the most remote corners of the Earth, that is why they avoid a meeting with people in every possible way. And, most likely, they are much less hazardous to people, than we have got used to think of it. After all the proverb appeared not without a reason : "The devil is not so terrible as he is painted".
